EVENING FACILITY RENTALS

All evening rentals include:

• Access to select Aviary exhibits, including the free-flight Wetlands exhibit
• 60” table rounds, 6′ and 8′ banquet tables and seating set up prior to your arrival
• Podium and microphone
• Complimentary parking in our 65-space lot
• On-site security guard, event supervisor, animal trainer and maintenance services

Package A: Rose Garden Tent
Surrounded by impatients, geraniums and roses, our historic garden and illuminated tent patio provide an intimate setting for both casual and formal evening events.

• Maximum number of guests: 120 seated, 200 cocktail- or theater-style
• Availability: May through September, rain or shine, four hours private use from 6:00–10:00 p.m. (Rental time can be extended to 11:00 p.m. for an additional $200.)
• Rental fee: $1,000 (discount available for nonprofit organizations)

Package B: Atrium
Create a festive, relaxed atmosphere or an elegant setting under the stars in our Victorian-inspired glass-domed Atrium.

• Maximum number of guests: 100 seated or 180 cocktail- or theater-style
• Availability: Year-round, four hours private use from 6:00–10:00 p.m. (Rental time can be extended to 11:00 p.m. for an additional $200.)
• Rental fee: $1,000 (discount available for nonprofit organizations)

Package C: Garden Tent/Atrium

• Maximum number of guests: 450 cocktail-style (with some seating available)
• Availability: Garden Tent/Atrium Package available May through September, four hours private use from 6:00–10:00 p.m. (Rental time can be extended to 11:00 p.m. for an additional $200)
• Rental fee: $1,200 (discount available for nonprofit organizations). Tropical Forest may be opened for an additional fee of $200

Package D: Atrium/Tropical Forest

• Maximum number of guests: 100 seated or 180 cocktail- or theater-style
• Availability: Year-round, four hours private use from 6:00–10:00 p.m. (Rental time can be extended to 11:00 p.m. for an additional $200.)
• Rental fee: $1,200 (discount available for nonprofit organizations)

Your Wedding Ceremony at the National Aviary

Exchange vows in the midst of a blooming Rose Garden or under the tranquil glass dome of the Atrium.

• Two hours private use of the entire facility: Rose Garden ceremonies 5:30–7:30 p.m.; Atrium ceremonies 6:00–8:00 p.m.
• 45-minute rehersal included, scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on the day before the ceremony
• Dove release available for Rose Garden ceremonies only (pending weather conditions)
• Maximum number of guests: 150 seated in either the Rose Garden or Atrium
• Availability: Rose Garden available late May – September; Atrium available year-round
• Rental fee: $800

Please note:
– Bird encounters are available during your event for an additional $100-$200
– Guest totals above 200 require additional security at the renter’s expense
– The National Aviary does not permit candles, open flames or balloons inside the facility or under the Rose Garden Tent


PHOTOGRAPHY

Private Photo Shoots at the National Aviary
The National Aviary outdoor Rose Garden and the lush tropical greenery of its free-flight exhibits provide a picturesque background for your photography session.

• Availability: One hour session utilizing the outdoor Rose Garden and/or indoor free-flight Wetlands and Tropical Forest Exhibits during business hours of 10:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. (subject to availability)
• Rental fee: $100 per hour
