Kids’ Day
September 6, 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Celebrate being a kid at the National Aviary! Kids under 12 receive FREE Admission. Enjoy our daily events and exhibits and bring your favorite teddy bear or stuffed animal and our staff will give them a full check-up!

Safety Day
September 13, 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Learn how to be a safe citizen and meet some of the people who work to keep our cities safe.

Scout Day
September 20
Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, and Girl Scouts in uniform receive FREE Admission to the National Aviary.

Half-Price Weekdays
September 2 – 30
Enjoy half-price admission during weekdays in September. Not valid on holidays. Cannot be combined with other coupons or offers.

Spend an early morning with over 600 exotic and endangered birds. Join trainers from the National Aviary for a continental breakfast, live bird presentations, a behind-the scenes look at the bird kitchen and hospital, an encounter with the rainbow lorikeets, and hands-on bird feedings. $18 adults; $15 children; member discount available. Learn how to turn your yard into the ultimate backyard habitat and meet some special feathery friends that may be roaming your backyard.

Training 101
November 15, 10 a.m. - noon
Learn how we train our birds to fly, loop, and talk. You’ll leave knowing how to train your cat, dog, bird, or even your spouse!

Hawk Mountain Weekend
